A straight resurface runs about a week. Full remodels with tile, coping and deck work run two to three weeks depending on cure and inspection windows.
Drain & Inspect
Free on-site visit. We drain, look at the shell, the bond beam and the equipment pad, then send a fixed bid within 48 hours.
Permit & Prep
We pull whatever Fontana or your city requires and handle the inspections. You do not deal with the counter.
Chip, Tile & Surface
Old plaster comes out. New tile and coping go in. Then the finish coat, troweled and cured properly.

How much does it cost to resurface a pool in Fontana?
Cost comes down to three things: the size of the shell, the finish you choose, and how much of the old surface has to come out. A standard plaster resurface sits at the low end. Quartz and pebble finishes cost more up front and last noticeably longer. Tile, coping and deck work are quoted separately so you can see exactly what you are paying for. We drain and inspect first, then hand you a fixed bid before any work starts, so the number does not move once we are in the ground.
How long does new pool plaster last in Inland Empire water?
A properly prepped plaster surface lasts about 10-15 years here. Our hard water is the reason surfaces fail early: high calcium etches and scales plaster when the chemistry is not held in range. We hand off a startup schedule with every resurface, because the first 30 days decide how the surface ages.
Can you fix the calcium line on my tile without redoing the pool?
Usually yes. If the shell and plaster are still sound, replacing just the waterline tile and cleaning the coping restores most of the look for a fraction of a full remodel. We tell you honestly when tile alone will do it, and when the surface underneath is too far gone to leave.
Do I need a permit, and do you handle it?
Structural changes, new equipment, gas lines, bonding and electrical work generally require a permit in Fontana and across the Inland Empire. Cosmetic resurfacing often does not. We are licensed for pool and spa work, bonded and insured, so we pull the permit and meet the inspector ourselves. You never deal with the counter.
